Healthy Avocado Salad Dressing

Easy and quick Avocado Salad Dressing

I love making homemade salad dressings. They are so quick and easy. And oh, so yummy! Avocado dressing is my go-to on most occasions. It is an excellent dressing for guests whose diets are gluten-free, plant-based, vegetarian, and (depending on who you ask) vegan.

Keep in an airtight container for 3-7 days.

When making this dressing, make sure your avocados are ripe. With that being said, let’s get to it.

Start by thoroughly washing the outside of your avocado. Slice your avocado in half and remove the seed. Scoop out the inside flesh of the avocado with a spoon and add it to your food processor. If you have a mini food processor or even a smoothie blender, you can use those too, although they are a little harder to scrape the dressing out. Add the peeled garlic clove, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Secure the lid and blend well. Pour in water to desired consistency, about ¼ cup. Add your dressing to your favorite leaf salad or use it as an alternative to mayo.

Add your dressing to your favorite leaf salad or use it as an alternative to mayo for a burger, sandwich, or even as a yummy addition to an appetizer.

Replace your mayo with a healthy alternative.

Enjoy!!
