What exactly is a “Chaffle?” A chaffle is typically made from only 2 ingredients, cheese & egg, made in a mini-waffle maker. But we aren't making a typical chaffle today! We are making a peanut butter chaffle.
One of the primary fats in peanut butter is oleic acid. Oleic acid has been shown to maintain good blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure when substituted for other fats in your diet. Therefore, keeping these levels in your body can lower the risk of heart disease.
Peanut butter is an excellent source of copper. Copper is a mineral that helps maintain our bone health, immune function, and blood vessels. Some research suggests that getting enough copper in your diet may reduce your heart disease risk and osteoporosis.
Peanut butter's health benefits are the numerous vitamins they contain, which include vitamin B6, magnesium, manganese, Niacin (B3), and vitamin E.
The health-boosting benefits are found in natural peanut butter. It is essential to check the ingredient label when buying peanut butter. Today, many brands add ingredients like sugar, vegetable oil, and trans fats that reduce their nutritional value.
You can easily find natural peanut butter at your local grocer or online. You will want to purchase peanut butter that doesn't contain any additives other than a little salt.
Blending peanuts in a blender is a reasonably simple way to make peanut butter at home.
Now let's get on with the recipe!
